Native Made Market

November 28, 2026

Join the community on “Small Business Saturday” to shop local and shop small, by shopping Native Made at the 2026 Native Made Market!

The Native Made Market Celebrates 5 Years of Empowering Indigenous Entrepreneurs and Celebrating Cultures

The Native Made Market began as a grassroots effort to create a space where Indigenous artists, entrepreneurs, and educators could share their cultures and talents with the broader community. What started in 2022 at a small shop in downtown Rochester has grown into one of the most anticipated Indigenous-led markets in the region. The market has expanded from POP ROC to Innovation Square, to La Luna at High Falls, the Eisenhart Auditorium at the Rochester Museum and Science Center, and in 2026, is centrally located at the Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County NY. With each passing year, Native Made continues to grow in impact and vision—imagining a future where this celebration becomes a permanent, year-round marketplace that amplifies the voices, talents, and futures of Indigenous people across Turtle Island.

As we celebrate our fifth season in 2026, we honor the journey that has brought us here, one of resilience, creativity, and community-building. Each year, we expand our reach, deepen our impact, and strengthen connections between Native makers and those eager to support Indigenous businesses.

Celebrate Indigenous Excellence at the Fifth Native Made Market

Join us on Small Business Saturday as we return for the fifth Native Made Market, a gathering that celebrates Indigenous creativity, culture, and community. This year’s FREE event will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at the Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County NY, located at 115 South Avenue, Rochester NY 14604.

Hosted in Gasgo’sagö:h on Onödowa’ga:’ land, Native Made is more than a market—it’s a movement. Founder Angelina Hilton shares, “What’s more local than honoring, celebrating, and supporting the original inhabitants of this land? Helping to bring visibility to the cultures from around this specific area is truly important.”

From 10 AM to 5 PM, attendees will be immersed in Indigenous cultures, artistry, entrepreneurship, and education. Native vendors from across Turtle Island will showcase a vibrant array of original artwork, beadwork, leather goods, fashion, sculptures, handcrafted accessories, and more. In past years, guests have also enjoyed Native made food samplings, live performances, and interactive workshops including crafting, storytelling, music, and dance.

Allies are encouraged to support the event through donations, volunteerism, and in-kind contributions, helping to create a memorable and inclusive experience for all. Native Made Market is more than an event, it’s a movement rooted in visibility, celebration, and support for Indigenous peoples. As we prepare for our fifth gathering on Small Business Saturday at the Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County NY, we’re calling on our community, allies, organizations, and individuals to get involved.

Whether you’re an individual looking to lend a hand, a business wanting to align your values with action, or a vendor ready to share your gifts, we invite you to join us in creating a space where Indigenous brilliance is seen, supported, and celebrated. We are accepting applications for participants through July 31, 2026, and continue to accept volunteer applications and sponsorships.
