ABOUT THE ARTIST

Rosa Mar Creations is a Boricua-centered natural soy wax business rooted in the preservation, honor, and celebration of the Indigenous Taíno and African heritage of the Puerto Rican diaspora. Each handcrafted candle and soap blends family tradition with the rich sensory language of the island, using natural ingredients and island-inspired scents to reconnect with ancestral roots. Our products are infused with the Boricua Spanish dialect—preserving the echoes of Taíno language—and made with care to uplift culture, memory, and the spirit of home.

We operate on the ancestral homelands of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, specifically the Onöndowa’ga:’ (Seneca), Keepers of the Western Door. We acknowledge the tension of advancing Indigenous visibility through dominant-culture tools and remain accountable to that reality.
