ABOUT THE ARTIST Ayanna Proctor is an enrolled citizen of the Piscataway Nation Turtle Clan and a descendant of the Susquehannock Nation. Ayanna is an award-winning quillwork artist as well as a cultural preservationist. She practices traditional woodland farming and hide tanning.
