ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

We are a diverse and relational committee that organizes an entertaining, educational, and inclusive Indigenous Peoples’ Day annually in Rochester, NY. Throughout the year we celebrate and elevate Indigenous People through educational events- open to the entire community- to inform and raise awareness of Indigenous knowledge, contributions, and issues. Approaching our work through our values of truth, kindness, community collaboration, social & environmental justice, respect, equity, education, and the empowerment of Indigenous People, we envision a world that understands and respects the wisdom and strength of Indigenous People and their cultures.
